Convertuous: Unit Converter

SUMMARY

A quick unit converter. Attempts to semantically interpret your query, and will return conversions for queries such as '1 kg to grams.'

Supports many common units in the categories of Acceleration, Area, Charge, Density, Distance, Energy, Force, Mass, Mass Flow, Power, Speed, Temperature, Time, Torque, Viscosity, Volume, and Volume Flow.

Currency conversion has not yet been added since conversion rates change so quickly. It's on the to-do list to implement.

This is still in Beta stage, and there are quirks, although they shouldn't very noticeably affect the converter.

More units to come. I hope you find it useful.

The latest version of Convertuous: Unit Converter is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 461 active users. The initial version was launched on 2012-09-15.

HOW TO INSTALL Convertuous: Unit Converter FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Convertuous: Unit Converter CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
