SUMMARY

YouTube Helper is a tool that can automatically summarize the content of a YouTube video, providing a brief summary of the main points or key takeaways. The summary would be in the form of text shown in the extension popup. It can also automatically translate the spoken or written text in a YouTube video from one language to another. Limitations * Does not handle the scenario where the maximum response character limit is reached. * Users do not have an option to stop generating responses. This project was built on top of ChatGPT.

The latest version of Youtube Helper is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 97 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-04-24.

HOW TO INSTALL Youtube Helper FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Youtube Helper CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
