SUMMARY

SkipTo.js extension fills a void in browsers to provide the navigation features to meet WCAG 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks requirement. The extension creates a drop-down menu of the landmark regions and headings on the current web page. Selecting an option in the menu moves keyboard focus to the landmark region or heading and scrolls the content into view. The menu also provides a convenient table of contents of what is on the page for ALL users. An example of a digital curb cut benefiting everyone in the information age.

The SkipTo.js for Firefox extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2024-09-20. At the time of removal, it had 2 users. The initial version was launched on 2024-09-09.

HOW TO INSTALL SkipTo.js for Firefox FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download SkipTo.js for Firefox CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
