Overview
What is BoilerKey Auto Login?
Extension to automatically log in to your Purdue Account.
SCREENSHOT
SUMMARY
Forget about grabbing your phone and clicking confirm on DuoMobile! This extension adds a new 'Auto Login' button to the Purdue login page which will bypass DuoMobile.
Setup is easy, simply log in to your Purdue account once through the extension, and it will automatically set everything up!
There is also an option for 'Auto Login' in the settings which will perform this action automatically whenever the Purdue login screen presented.
This extension will register a new BoilerKey device during setup for Chrome to use. You will receive an email notifying you that this device has been added. You may revoke access at any time by clearing data and/or removing the device on Purdue's BoilerKey management page.
FAQ:
Q: Are there any security concerns?
A: This extension essentially lets you add Chrome as a Boiler Key device in addition to your phone. This means that anyone who has access to your computer has access to your Purdue account, and does not need your phone to authenticate it.
Q: Does this mean I never have to use DuoMobile again?
A: No, the extension only bypasses the DuoMobile 2fa step on devices it is installed and set up on. That means any login attempts from your phone, public computers, and nefarious hackers will still require you to confirm on your DuoMobile app.
