Highlight&Go

SUMMARY

This annotation tool allows Systematic Review and Mapping Study practitioners to classify primary studies using highlights. For that, it provides a color-based and customised highlighter based on the classification schema. While the reviewer is highlighting the documents directly on the net, the extension records annotations to automatically generate a google spreadsheet with the mapping inferred from the highlights. It also provides a way to trace back the coding rationales used by the reviewer for further checking. When multiple reviewers work concurrently on the systematic review, it supports mapping stage tracking, to know if a primary study is mapped, has conflicts or is already validated by the checker. It requires permission to access Google Sheets and Google Drive. The latest version of Highlight&Go is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 67 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-06-17.

HOW TO INSTALL Highlight&Go FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Highlight&Go CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
