SUMMARY

In Test automation, 30% time taken to manually write custom xpaths. This tool helps the users to generate custom values with very few clicks. Then collected objects are stored in an object and written to a user defined file format. Users can download the file and paste it in their framework as page object file. Supported attributes with respect to xpath are ID, Name, Class, Text and Partial Link Text.

The latest version of Custom Xpath is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 268 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-01-25.

HOW TO INSTALL Custom Xpath FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Custom Xpath CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
