This version fixes problems Windows/Linux users were experiencing.

Turns any textarea on the web into something you can write and edit with Draft.

Your blog, Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, even comment boxes on websites like Reddit and Hacker News.

Just place your cursor in the box you want to write in, click the Chrome Draft extension, a new tab will open with Draft.

Choose an already written document or something new to write in Draft. When you're done, there's a menu button to paste your work back into the text box you came from.

The latest version of Draft is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 4,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2013-03-27.

HOW TO INSTALL Draft FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Draft CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
