SUMMARY

This extension lets you save the changes you make to a static web page using Inspect Element to remain there even after you refresh the page. So if you want to modify a web page to make it easier for you to read, or to remove an intrusive banner, you can do that, and you wouldn't have to re-do it every time you visit the page again.

Of course, this only changes the content of the page on *your* computer and not the website itself.

The latest version of Permanent Inspect Element is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 80,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-08-03.

HOW TO INSTALL Permanent Inspect Element FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Permanent Inspect Element CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
