SUMMARY

After installation, any previously opened YouTube page must be reloaded. This extension allows the user to translate YouTube comments with the click of a single button right next to the header of the comment. This is useful, i.e. when listening to music from other countries. The sourcecode is openly available on GitHub.

The latest version of YouTube™ Comment Translate is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 40,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-11-26.

HOW TO INSTALL YouTube™ Comment Translate FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download YouTube™ Comment Translate CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
