Photo Downloader

SUMMARY

Chrome extension to help with downloading of images from social photo sites.

* Uses minimal Chrome extension permissions (by using the activeTab option)
* Uses minimal Chrome resources (via the the declarativeContent API)
* Generates filenames based on the caption of the image

Currently only works on permalink pages.

The latest version of Photo Downloader is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 4,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2018-01-29.

HOW TO INSTALL Photo Downloader FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Photo Downloader CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
