When is this helpful?
This extension is particularly useful when you're working on localhost and need to open the exact same URL in another environment, such as a staging or production server.

How it works:
* Add an Environment: Specify the environment name and URL.
* Open a Website: Navigate to any website.
* Use the Extension: Click on the Open Environment Extension, and a new tab will open with the host URL replaced, keeping the rest of the path unchanged.

This tool streamlines your workflow, making it easy to switch between different environments without manually editing the URL.

HOW TO INSTALL Open Environment Extension FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Open Environment Extension CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
