Get Git scans websites for web accessible .git directories, which can expose all manner of data including:

* past and present source code
* internal network structure (remote origins)
* sensitive API keys and credentials
* and more!

Quick info is available by clicking on the wrench for an entry, including the config file, .gitignore, the repo description, etc. Now offers unobtrusive CSS notifications!

The latest version of Get Git is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 301 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-01-20.

HOW TO INSTALL Get Git FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Get Git CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
