Settings Button

SUMMARY

This is a simple lightweight extension that adds a shortcut button to your browser for quick access to your settings and options. It either opens a new tab, or switches to the downloads tab if you already have it open in another tab.

You could nearly accomplish the same thing if you made a bookmark, but this assures you won't open multiple tabs.

The latest version of Settings Button is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 6,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2013-06-17.

HOW TO INSTALL Settings Button FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Settings Button CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
