TeachBooks Annotator

SUMMARY

A tool for making annotations on websites, with the primary application for use with online interactive textbooks. This extension provides students, readers and anyone with the ability to use an online textbook in a similar way as a paper book: highligh text and make notes in the margins. Although the initial feature set is simple, future releases will include the ability to use labels and different annotation types to improve your study sessions as well as features to collaborate with others. The extension is developed by the TeachBooks team (teachbooks@tudelft.nl)

The latest version of TeachBooks Annotator is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 3 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-10-04.

HOW TO INSTALL TeachBooks Annotator FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download TeachBooks Annotator CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
